National Society for the

Prevention of Cruelty to Children

NSPCC is a charity largely supported by public donations.  It exists to protect children from significant harm.

Committees are formed by volunteers to raise money to support the work of the NSPCC.  Wolverhampton and area have had many groups organising fundraising events, eg coffee mornings, sponsored events, fashion shows, lunches and concerts.   Tettenhall and Patingham is a local branch helping to fund “Helpline” and “Childline” through the “Let no cry go unheard” campaign.  We hold six or seven events in the year and raise between seven and eight thousand pounds a year, including many generous donations.  There is no qualification to hold an event.
